RT or ReTweet, in Twitter Terms is similar to a forward in email. If you see something you like, pass it along. If you only have a few followers, don’t over do it. In fact, if you have a thousand+ followers, don’t over do it.

p.s.  thanks for the RT @mfubib

Why is it important
The number one reason why RT is important, is that you can pass along freelance jobs, posted to twitter, from  http://www.surefirehire.com to your network of followers. They will appreciate the job opportunity. Hopefully some day they will return the favor.

  2. Twitter is about conversation and connecting.

Retweeting is a compliment, it is like saying

“I just had a look at this great site that @surefirehire recommended and I think it is great”.

There are lots of ‘rules’ for twitter according to some users (including not RT too much) – I even remember reading a post that strongly advised to not send more that 7 tweets a day in case people unfollow you for tweeting too much!!!

Twitter, for me, is about sharing, it is about 2-way conversations and keeping up to date with new trends in my areas of interest.

If a friend shares something that I enjoy I will RT it :)

    Thanks for the mention.
