I am uncertain of the author; however, he goes on to suggest different ways that smart business owners are coping with the down-turn in the global economy.</p>
<p>The author argues that to combat an economic down-turn, <strong>instead of laying off</strong> an employee, consider dropping their hours and allowing the employee to work for another employer at the same time.</p>

<h2>How surefirehire Works!</h2>
<p>In simple terms, surefirehire works in this fashion:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Post</strong> &#8211; Employer posts an opportunity or project.</li>
<li><strong>Bid</strong> &#8211; Service Providers bid on an opportunity.</li>
<li><strong>Award </strong>- Either during the auction time window or after the time has expired, the Employer accepts a bid and awards the Opportunity to a Service Provider.</li>
<li><strong>Work</strong> &#8211; Service Provider and Employer work together.</li>
<li><strong>Deliver</strong> &#8211; The Opportunity is completed by the Service Provider.</li>
<li><strong>Employer Pays Service Provider</strong> &#8211; Project ends with Employer&#8217;s payment to Service Provider</li>
